Sathyamurthy Mayilswamy

Sathyamurthy Mayilswamy ( Satya) is the Senior Vice president/ Regional Head of Olam South America. He has more than 20 years of experience in Agri business in India, Africa and South America. He has joined Olam in November, 1996 in Nigeria as Branch Manager and then managed Cocoa, Cashew, Shea nuts as Profit center Head. He then moved as Country Head of Olam Cameroon in 2001. In 2002 moved back to Nigeria as Country Head (Exports) to handle over 7 commodities. Then he became Country Head- Nigeria/ Benin in 2004 including its export, import and packaged food businesses. Satya moved as Regional Head for South America in Dec2007 and based out Sao Paulo. He is responsible for Brasil, Argentina and Uruguay with its Coffee, Cotton, Peanuts, Sugar, Spices ,Beans and Dairy businesses. He is also a member of Olam’s Management committee and CRS (corporate responsibility and sustainability ) Executive Committee. He holds bachelor degree in Agri Engineering from CAE, TNAU, India and PG Diploma in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management ,Anand ( IRMA), India.

Ricardo Lopez

Ricardo Lopez Mayorga is Business Head of New Zealand Farming Systems Uruguay. NZFSU is one of the largest global dairying operations and is 100% owned by OLAM. He assumed this role in July 2015. Prior to his move to Uruguay, Ricardo was Chairman and Group CEO of Nidera Holdings B.V. The group is a global agribusiness corporation based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands with presence in 20 strategic countries for the agricultural and trading business. Ricardo has a degree with highest honours in Electric and Electronic Engineering from the University of Mendoza, Argentina. During his extended business career, has travelled extensively worldwide having a clear understanding of business management and new business development in multicultural organizations, financial management of complex structures, compliance with regulatory and public affairs in different countries, and overall a thorough understanding of the industry and the business in a fully global environment.

Silvina Crosa

Silvina Crosa was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the company in February 2011. Until then she was the CFO of PGG Wrightson Uruguay, and has also had a major involvement in NZS since its inception in 2006. Silvina has an MBA from American University in Washington DC and strong experience in commerce and banking.

Francisco Hughes

Francisco Hughes was appointed Operations Manager for the Centre region in July 2013. Prior to this he was Business Unit Manager for Doña Celia, which he managed from its inception until it was later consolidated into 7 dairies. As Operations  Manager-Centre he is responsible for managing 16 dairies. Francisco received his agronomy degree from the Universidad de la República in 2006, and in 2010 went on to complete the ACDE-ISEDE Management Development Program at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Prior to his employment with NZFSU, Francisco worked in the Meat Processing Industry as a Livestock Transport Coordinator, he held a position in a seed company, and also worked as a farm appraiser.

Ignacio Goicoechea

Ignacio Goicoechea was appointed Operations Manager for the West region in July 2013.  Prior to this he was Business Unit Manager of Naranjales, which he managed from its inception in September 2006 until it was later consolidated into 6 diaries. As Operations Manager-West he is responsible for managing 12 diaries. Ignacio received his agronomy degree from the Universidad de la República in September 2007, and in 2011 went on to complete the ACDE-ISEDE Management Development Program at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay. Prior to his employment with NZFSU, Ignacio held a management position at Primitiva Forestal Ganadera.

Daniel Paredes

Daniel Paredes joined the company in April 2012. He has more than 20 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager amongst different companies across Uruguay. These companies have included both domestic and multinationals, and have been involved in a number of different production activities. Daniel holds a Teaching degree, and subsequently obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources.

Manuel Ternande

Manuel Ternande was appointed IT Manager of NZFSU in January 2011. Prior to this he had been IT Manager for PGG Wrightson Uruguay from 2008. Manuel obtained a Systems Engineer degree from UDELAR in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1983, and he has more than 25 years of experience in the management of a wide group of technological platforms
